Top 30 Films of the Decade I Still Need to See

The order corresponds to how badly I want to see them. Its purpose is really just to have a more immediate checklist of films to see since the decade is winding down. Only films from 2009 did not count because I felt it was too soon and a few of the films from the year that would have made the list if they had been allowed, are not even out yet.

30. L'Enfant

29. Happy Endings

28. My Summer of Love

27. Lilya 4-Ever

26. Blue Car

25. The Unknown Woman

22. Tarnation

21. Twelve and Holding

20. The Proposition

You got some real doozies waiting for you! A couple I've not heard of ...
Stand-outs for me are:
Ameros Perros
The Proposition
The Lives of Others
My Summer of Love
Lilya-4-Ever
The Unknown Woman
Tarnation
The Magdalene Sisters

Prepare to have your senses assaulted! There's a few here that will test your sensibilities!

haha.....yeah.....i'm terrified of watching some of these. TERRIFIED!!! the entire reason they have not been watched is basically BECAUSE of that. so yeah, I've saved myself some really fun stuff. I'm pretty scared about Dancer in the Dark. I am the most terrified about The Piano Teacher out of all of them. Lilya 4-Ever I know will be tough as will L.I.E. ANd then there is Time of the Wolf.

Tell me, which ones in particualr will test my sensibilities??? I need to know!!! I mean I know what I am getting into with the ones I mentioned above but are there films on here that I am completely overlooking and am assuming will be a cake walk? I need help!

I've not seen a few either so can't comment on all of them ...
Lilya-4-Ever is emotionally shattering and The Proposition is gut-wrenching near the end (not for the squeamish either in a few places) ... those are probably the two toughest I found of the ones that I've seen that you've listed. Magdalene Sisters is pretty harrowing too actually. Dancer in the Dark is wrenching, but I just didn't get into the musical aspect of it ... Good luck.
